In today's society we are bombarded with information that comes fast and furious through sound bites and talk shows. It is no wonder that millions of American women think Oprah is their best friend. But where should we turn for answers?

VIBRANT is a day designed to inform and encourage you from a Biblical worldview. We will be addressing topics such as:
• Encouraging your husband
• How much is too much for your children?
• Gracious hospitality
• Organizing your home
• Health and exercise
• When life throws you a curve
• Being a Titus woman

Invite a friend or a co-worker to enjoy a few hours with your host Christy Davis that is sure to include a few unexpected surprises as we grow VIBRANT in Christ.

Rock Your Role
Awakening the woman God created you to be
Ephesians 2:10

May 2 & 3, 2008
Wakefield Baptist Church
13029 Falls of Neuse Road
Wake Forest, North Carolina 27587
Featured Speaker: Ruth McWhite
Worship Leaders: Josh & Tasha Via

*In today's society there are sertain underlying pressures facing women, each demanding we agree with their definition of womanhood and subscribe to their brand of femininity. SO what exactly does it mean to Rock You Role? It's simply letting God, our Rock, define us as women, not society.
*Under the guidance of our features speaker, Ruth McWhite, we will examine God's Word to discover what He desires for us as women and how to apply what we learn, regardless of what role we may find ourselves in, or what age we are.
*Friday, May 2nd- 7:00 pm- 9:30 pm
Worship, teaching, and fellowship
*Saturday, May 3- 8:00 am- 4:00 pm
Breakfast and lunch, worship, teaching, and breakout sessions lead by Godly women from area churches- Providence Baptist, Holy Trinity Anglican, Wakefield Baptist, Bayleaf Baptist, Faith Baptist, Richland Creek Community, and North Wake.
*I will be leading a breakout session (each session will be taught twice during the day) entitled "To know Him More". God has given women the ability and privilege to wear many different hats; singleness, career, wife, mom, teacher, nurse, taxi cab driver, seamstress, counselor, and chef, just to name a few. But, in order to honor God in all that we do , we must know His will for our lives. Spending time with God daily in His Word and through conversation is the only way we are going to know Him more and know His plan and purpose for our lives. Join me as we learn practical ways to spend some good quality time with God.
*Other breakout topics include "Who, Me?!", "Free to Live", "Show Me the Money-Gaining Control of Your Finances God's Way", "Balancing Busy-ness: Finding Peace in the Midst of Chaos", "Don't Miss the 'Role' Call", "It's All about the Shoes! What pair are You Styling?", and "When People are Too BIG: Understanding the Fear of Man".

Hi Jenifer,

I am doing much better today. God has shown me that I can get up at 5 am instead and still have the time I need. That 30 min. is a huge blessing.

I know he told me to do my quiet time in the morning that's why it's been such a struggle.

Thanks for praying for me!

Hope all is going well with you!

Sure wished I could come to this.

Hello!
I am in the process of researching for a book I would like to write that addresses ten struggles that Christian women face. I would love to have your input as well.

Thank you for any help you can give me. All I need is the list of ten things as well as your age. Thank you!

Please pray for my family. My daughter is in rebellion and making a bad decision that will affect her future and ours. Joey and I need guidance and strength ...Andrea needs God. I am afraid she is turning her back on HIM. All over a non-christian male who is deciving her. Please add our request to your church list and ask your friends to pray for us.
Thanks,
