Please Join Me in Prayer

My heart has been on the heavy side today. Do you ever have those days where you wonder what in the world the Lord is doing and why things seem to be going the way there are? The last few days have been like that for me. I'm going to be selfish for a moment and ask you to all join me in praying for the following situations. I know that God is in control; His Word clearly reveals that to me, but my flesh is crying out right now, why?

~Please pray for my Pawpaw. He has been in the hospital for several days. He has suffered with Alzheimers for over a year now. He is very confused right now. Within the week, my family will be placing him in a nursing home so that he is able to get the care he needs. Please pray for my Memaw as she adjusts to him being gone. Pray for his children as they seek to do what's best for their aging parents. Pray that my Pawpaw is not resistant to this change and that his transition is smooth. Pray that he has a roommate he can relate to. I am praising the Lord that my Pawpaw knows Jesus!

~Please pray for a dear couple who just had their second son at 28 weeks (their first son they lost due to a miscarriage). Pray for protection for the baby from infections. Pray that his body will continue to grow and function as it should and for there to be no long term affects from his pre-mature delivery. Pray for his mother as she recovers from an infection and for her body to heal from the c-section. Pray for his father as he ministers to his wife and baby boy. Pray that their eyes will continue to be focused on Jesus as they share His love with those around them. Pray for the doctors and nurses who are caring for this precious baby boy.

~Pray for a family who just experienced a very horrific loss. Their oldest daughter was brutally murdered November 23. I went to college with this young girl. She was a joy to all those she met. Pray for her husband and their family as they work through this tragedy. Pray for those involved in this crime. Pray for their salvation. Pray for God to be glorified in the midst of all this pain. Praise the Lord this precious young girl knew Jesus in a real and personal way.

Thank you all so much for joining me in prayer. It means the world to me to know that I have brothers and sisters in Christ standing with me during this time. Love to all of you!

there I am in the midst of them."

Praying with you my sister. Yes, I have those days when my heart is heavy.

Isn't it comforting to know that we lean on our Heavenly Father on those days. I am so thankful for His strong arms. May they bring comfort to you, your family and the other two families.

Take care, my friend! I hope the week gets better.

Jenifer...it is not selfish to bring your heavy heart to the body of believers to join you in prayer for such petitions. Even Moses had people hold his arms up! We are here to support, encourage and pray in united force as ONE ACCORD...for a chord of two or three, so you needed us...you have great sisters above & not yet responded that are standing together with you for these very heavy circumstances & my heart too senses the heaviness, but Our God is the Problem Solver as we take our eyes off the problem & fix on Him the solution already in His Plan. His heart is heavy also. And you have every right to cry out & ask for His Presence & response. This is all so unbelieveable! All at once! That's how it gets but we can have HOPE in what you know and
all these people know: Jesus! May He reveal to you! May He send His Comforter! May He be your Wisdom!
Joining you for family & friends in prayer...how difficult each petition, but how much greater is Our Lord who can handle ALL that we can't carry. Let Him carry these burdens! Rest & Peace my friend!

I'm praying with and for you sister. Just know that God is good even when this world is bad. Especially when this world is bad, He is working good for all those who love Him! I know you know it, so cling to it!

Side note...my little guy, Maxx, was born at 30 weeks and is fit as a fiddle! That was 9 years ago, and I know technology has advanced since then...thought that might shine some hope on the situation in addition to the hope that is our God! =]
