Spring has sprung in my neck of the woods and not a moment too soon!!! The birds are chripping, the trees of budding, the wind is blowing every so gently, and the rays of the sun are bursting forth through the clouds. I LoVe it; spring is one of my most favorite times of year.

Spring brings forth new life. It brings to us a hope refreshed, a hope renewed, a hope eternal. About a month and a half ago I was truly humbled to join the awesome team of ladies over at the Internet Cafe as a Word Barista and the Cafe manager. I have been blessed beyond measure to serve alongside these wonderful, Godly women. They encourage, challenge, inspire, and spur me on to grow in my relationship with the Lord. Can I Pour You a Cup?

I stood in front of the mirror and smiled.

It was the first time in my life this had ever happened.

I turned to the left and then to the right. I even did a 360 degree turn just to see the whole picture for myself.

I smiled.

I couldn’t believe it.

For the first time in my life I was wearing “skinny girl” clothes. And, boy was I proud!
