Then Sings My Soul Saturday- "Miracle"

Ok, so I'm a day late this week for Then Sings My Soul Saturday. Hope you all don't mind. My family and I were visiting Thailand yesterday in search of the royal white elephant. Our journey started off with a visit to China and a look into their culture. We read a story about a little girl named Doris who is a Christian among a people who have no use for God. We talked about how believers must hide their Bibles and attend secret house-churches in hopes of avoiding the Chinese police. Being a Christian in China is literally a life and death situation. Our family has committed to pray for the Chinese people and the upcoming Olympics. I plan on posting more about this later on in the week.

In our study of China yesterday I came across a song that I'd like to share with you. There is a sign on a house-church in China that reads "God so loves the world." The sign also includes the words to the song "Miracle":

Thank You for giving me life.

We gather because of Your love.

How can I be redeemed without You?

I give my whole life to You.

Thank You for teaching me the truth, reminding me to deny myself daily;

to let You manage my life.

I have God's footprints on my heart.

Oh God, I want to follow You and open my whole heart to You.

No one and nothing can compare to You.

Help me to walk with more strength.

Oh Lord, I want to serve You by using my changed life.

May we be a people seeking to serve God with our whole hearts no matter what it might cost us.
